Took 4 days, but damn am I happy with the final product. So detailed, so many great little details. I wanna take a picture next to a real one for some great photos.

Was yours missing the flat, black, 2x1 piece under the ferrari emblem on the clamshell hood and one of the clear, flat, 1x1 pieces behind the bumper corner too?

Also, while I agree that this model is awesome, I’d say it’s equal in greatness to the Mini.

Yes! I plan on doing this. I’ve had good luck with this in the past. I bought two 787’s for $80 each. Built one, held on to the other and waited for it to retire. I sold it for 300.

If your set is missing pieces, make sure to go to Lego’s website. Theyll replace them for free.

I’ve know a 6 year old with a huge supply of spares, so it was no big deal to replace them, but someone else posted about his F40, and he was missing the exact same pieces I was.

That’s unfortunate! I hope that doesn’t happen to me... Although if it does I do have a wealth of pieces to pick from. My 787 was missing a lot of pieces. Never got that corrected.
